Spoontiques HMR1650 Clawed Hand Wielding Dragon-Handled Gem-Studded Sword - EPIC

Why I'm selling these: I collected pewter wizards and dragons starting around 2000 or so, when I was around ten years old and most of the companies that made these and the stores that sold them had already gone out of business after the fantasy/role-playing/New Age boom of the late 70s and 80s had run its course.  In college I had stopped not because of lack of interest, but because I no longer went on cross-country driving summer vacations with my family.  However, after various graduate school and teaching adventures culminating in a move back to Minnesota in 2016, I came across a few at a game store in Roseville and again at an antique shop in St. Paul.  After both these places had been exhausted and the latter closed for good at the start of the pandemic, I discovered that pewter fantasy figurines were still to be had on Ebay!  I beefed up my collection in a hurry until my display cabinet could no longer hold all the pieces.  After destroying several budgets and purchasing more than a few duds, I became more selective about what I actually wanted to keep and decided to list the cast-offs here.
Description: This is a pewter figurine of a hand holding a sword.  It is super awesome and I hesitate to sell it, even though it is an exact duplicate of one I already have.  I am not lowering my price on this one if it doesn't sell immediately.
This sword is clutched in a hand that is surging from a round earthen base.  The hand has a sleeve and is humanoid (but not necessarily human), and the nails are so long and pointy that I think referring to them as claws is justified.  It is wearing a ring set with a white round faceted crystal.  The cross-guard of the hilt, which is a modified basket handle, is in the shape of a serpentine dragon with a horn on its head and prominent scales.  The blade has several diamond-cut notches for extra glitter, and six brightly colored round faceted gemstones finish the design.  The base is flat and nearly smooth; its edges also have diamond-cut notches.  It is stamped "C Spoontiques" at the top, with the C standing for copyright, and towards the bottom, it reads "HMR1650 / PEWTER".  The quality and the creativity on this piece are top-notch.
This figurine has no defects.
